Accessibility

Introduction

On our website, we strive to ensure that everyone, regardless of their situation or abilities, can access our content and services. We believe accessibility is a fundamental right and an ethical responsibility, and that's why we've incorporated several design and coding features that make our website more accessible and user-friendly.

Guidelines

On January 1, 2006, regulations came into force requiring Spanish public administrations to make their websites accessible to all citizens. To this end, administrations must apply the W3C (Wai) accessibility standards group, which aims to guarantee the accessibility of public administration websites. In accordance with the UNE-EN 301 549:2022 standard, the necessary measures have been implemented to ensure the accessibility of this website to all users.

Following the W3C's WAI guidelines, we have implemented a series of technical measures that allow people with visual, hearing, motor, or cognitive disabilities to access our content without barriers. These measures include the ability to navigate our website using a keyboard, the use of descriptive tags for images, the integration of subtitles and transcripts in our videos, and the use of high contrast and adaptive font sizes.

This website complies with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards, which establish guidelines and criteria to ensure that web content is accessible to all people, including those with disabilities.

To achieve this, we followed the WCAG 2.1 guidelines and techniques at three levels: A, AA, and AAA. These levels establish different accessibility requirements, from the most basic to the most advanced, to ensure the highest possible accessibility.

CENTRO DE SALUD VIRGEN DEL CARMEN SL is committed to continually improving the accessibility of our website and addressing any suggestions or comments users may have in this regard. If you encounter any accessibility issues on our website, please do not hesitate to contact us so we can resolve them immediately.
